These visualisations were built using R and Shiny, here's a basic overview of what Shiny is.
This project was started when Prof. Vili Lehdonvirta and Dr. Otto Kässi approached Martin Hadley from the IDN to design and develop a dashboard so that viewers could easily understand the current state of the Online Labour Market, both
from a worker's and employer's point of view.
The visualisation makes use of the following charts:
- Barcharts - useful for comparison, ranking or displaying the magnitude of data.
- Timeseries line chart
- Choropleth
